This book was published following the exhibition Olt by Olivier Mosset and Jean-Baptiste Sauvage, which took place at l’Espace de l’Art Concret from April 1st to November 5th, 2017. The work of the two artists’ echoes the campaign that launched the Elf brand (1967), whose slogan was: “Les ronds rouges arrivent” (The red circles are coming). In our publication, this campaign is evoked through rarely seen visual documents. The book also contains an interview with the artists and the curator of the exhibition, and an essay by Jill Gasparina entitled “Homage the to the Circle”.
